While our Sunday gathering is the central and primary meeting of our church, it does not alone accomplish all that God intends for us to experience through the church. A survey of the “one anothers” of the New Testament (ex. Rom. 12:10, Rom. 12:16, 1 Cor. 11:33, Gal. 5:13, Eph. 4:2, Eph. 4:32, 1 Thes. 5:11, Heb. 3:13, Heb. 10:24-25, Jam. 5:16) show that church life includes a depth of relationship that cannot be fulfilled in one large meeting.
Redeeming Grace Church organizes home groups for all members of the church. They usually meet twice a month on a Wednesday or Friday night. They might also meet at other times for special occasions, for men’s and women’s bible studies, for service projects, or prayer meetings. Ultimately home groups are intended to foster personal relationships, accountability, Biblical fellowship and a context to apply the gospel in each other lives.
